@viktorberta4953 that's the thing. Countries announce these big numbers of support. However these numbers are the price of a brand new system, not possibly used or nearing the expiration date. These numbers often include the price to transport the material to Ukraine at least part way as well.

@mickser101 you believe they actually have that many losses? Is this from the russian MOD. They also claimed to have shot the Ukrainian air force down almost 4× now. Pretty impressive, if Ukranian air force has a respawn timmer how is russia going to win?

@LadyEileen it was around 2k, not 10k. Luckily in democracy people have a right to express their opinion. Meek Pacifists always get a chance to express themselves in democracy. The rest of us remember history class and how much peace in our time appeasement brought use.

@DarkSyster to be fair VDV are very capable troops. When used correctly. Throwing the best troops into an unknown urban area with no support, to be ambushed, was a terrible move from command. Something I've noticed a lot with russia. They often take the best troops, then throw them into long shot scenarios, where they either become stuff of legends, or fertiliser for the sunflowers 🌻 often the later outcome is observed. Now there are hardly any special forces left.

Ukraine is a member of the U.N. Do you mean EU? They absolutely should be. It's all they wanted and it's why russia launched this invasion. Joining NATO had around 13% popularity in ukraine. That was in 2013. Now it's 66%. They probably should have a referendum or something after the conflict and see if the people want to join NATO. At this point, almost certainly.

@RememberAuroraColoradoUSA is that why 92% of crimea voted to leave the and be part of ukraine in 1991? You do realise everything USA does isn't NATO right? NATO wasn't involved in Kuwait, Kuwait was a joint UN sanctioned action. As for nord stream, Sweden says russia did it. China buys energy at a heavy discount. russia has no where near the capacity to move energy east, as they did west. It will be a long time until they can sell the same volume EU was buying to China.

@LadyEileen Well if they have 10k protests it could be a problem. Luckily we aren't even half way there, about 1/5th there. We'll UK and US sources estimate it's exceeded 100k casualties for ukraine. However they also put russia at 200k. Best I can tell from oryx visually confirmed losses, russia is loosing a lot more equipment then ukraine does.

I hope the time never comes, however Canada is with Taiwan if China gets some crazy ideas. You deserve the right to self determination, just like Ukraine and all countries, no matter the size.

@paulgibbon5991 the Ukranian and Belarusian guards armies were the main forces in russia for ww2. Most successful units. Obviously russia didn't want to send many russkiyes to the fight. They prefer to cleans the non russkiye.

@mickser101 I believe visually confirmed losses from platforms like Oryx, not retired has beens who like to guest on russia today, and fox news. I don't trust any MOD too well either. You know on the corruption index russia is 12 spots lower then Ukraine. Which on the list meany russia is way more corrupt.

I'm glad they for rid of nukes. Skid missles, ballistics others should have been kept. The Ukranians probably wouldn't have been invaded is they could drop a MOAB on anything west of the Urals.

@ClubofInfo-Circulation wait didn't the USSR fight Afghanistan, lose in half the time with twice the losses then collapse? I also remember russia being in Syria and US troops only fighting ISIS as part of a U.N. collation. US did get engaged by wagner 1 time though. A wagner force of 500 tried to engage 40 members of the 75th rangers and 101 air borne. When dust settled 0 American casualties and almost 100 Wagner losses 📉 😔 😪
