  3. ​ @nusaibahibraheem8183 The app has protections in China to prevent addictive use, not deployed abroad. That's 1 major concern. There's definitely a security concern as well. Let's not forget China is gunning for a war with Taiwan. Not a great idea to let your potential adversary control the media.

At least we can drag zuck in front of Congress and the EU to force some kind of regulation and open information. There's 0 accountability for tiktok outside China.

  8.  @koiyujo1543  There's actually checks and balances with them. They actually get dragged to EU, US, Canadian courts unlike TikTok. Besides the real issue here is letting a foreign hostile government spy on and manipulate their enemy. You'd have to be naive to allow such a thing.
