It's a ramp right? I saw a documentary on a French guy who solved whis like 12 years ago. The thing on top is for the pully system to pull bricks up the ramp.

Napoleon and a few others have found sarcophagus's in the pyramids... Around the fall to the mamaluks many had their Chambers possessions relocated to a valley and hidden in a cave at the bottom of a deep kind of narrow crevasse. The mamaluks did then loot many burial Chambers even selling the bodies to private collectors.

The sarcophagus in each one is just for decoration. Incase workers needed a nap right? I think you should do a little research on the kingdoms fall and their attempts to relocate and hide all the tombs. Only to have most locations looted by the mamaluks.

@Yanivkahana I've listened to many and the answers are pretty clear. The theory is pretty well proven and would work, it was done by an architect who has models showing the while building processes. There's even holes and a track along the ramp for the wood beams.

@KimJongWilll I'll try to link you the documentary. If you really think a ramp and pully system can't move large stones, how do you think ancients built anything out of large stones? The physics of it actually checks out. You can lift a car with duct tape too. It has rungs and square holes along the internal ramp inside. The chamber up top was for the rope and pully system.

@Yanivkahana oh, conspiracy theorists. There's actually plenty of proof in how they were built and what for. That slanted tunnel with a chamber on top was a ramp and pull system with wood beams to pull the slabs up. The burial Chambers with sarcophagus's were cleared out around the fall of the kingdom, and hidden around the valley of the Kings and other locations. The mamaluks found and looted many locations, however one large cave full has been discovered in more modern times and preserved. Or believe conspiracy theories that ignore the writing on the wall.
