@MetallicReg Taiwan wants to be sovereign and independent. China refuses to cut the umbilical cord. It's like a teen who wants to move out and live their life. So mom tells your friends you are at home sick. Meanwhile she installes bars on the windows, then builds a moat with little islands covered in military drone facilities. That's a much more apt comparison.

 @eanerickson8915 it's Taiwanese waters, not china's. Taiwan has the right to self determination as a sovereign nation.

@sxue4125 well sure ignore the 14 other russian conflicts and focus on Syria. Syrian people were fighting their tyrannical government. US came in to help kurds quash ISIS. ISIS which got a foothold thanks to russia.

@sxue4125 idk why russia is stealing Syrian oil. They do the same in Yemen, Libya, Sudan. They steal minerals/metals in central Africa, Mali, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Burkina faso, Eritrea, Excetera. russia just isn't satisfied being the largest colonial nation. They need to exploit the middle east and Africa to feel truly superior.
