  2. Don't forget to mention there's already a mission there with ships patrolling from many European countries. This is just more ships under a US command structure.

  3.  @willw8011  perun did a great video on it like 2 weeks ago. There's already a multi national coalition patrolling for pirates CMF. US started a new 1 initiative to specifically target huthi rebels. Some nations joined using forces already in the area. France and Italy already patrol the area and doing their own missions to protect shipping. Operation prosperity Guardians (the US lead mission) 2nd largest member, the UK, has 1 destroyer and 1 frigate on the mission. 3rd largest contributer is Canada with a few CP-140 Auroras and 1 frigate. Denmark, Greece and the Netherlands have 1 frigate each inbound. 6 Other countries are providing support and logistics.
