@ahmedakhan1 a bunch of South America and more Asian countries have sanctioned russia. Don't forget Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay, Paraguay, Honduras, Belize, Costa Rica, Dominica Republic, Guatemala, Greenland, Iceland, Micronesia, Singapore, Paua New Guinea, Palau, and a few other small island nations. Most of them have their own sanctions packages and aren't part of the unified sanctions package 46 western nations signed together. Still sanctioned russia though.

@Manntashsh-Pyrre-rrr8 yes, Reuters put their current capacity at 40% of the grain deal. Which means millions starve. I'm having a conversation in good faith, you however are disingenuous. I addressed your assertion NATO must enforce grain deal with reality. It's russia who must enforce a blockade, and it's going poorly.

@corvus4135 because russia voted to end their empire and Chechns voted to be free. They wanted right to self determination. russia even accepted that after they lost the first Chechn war. russia does not get to determine what other countries do simply because they occupied them in the past.

@jmhorange russias concerns are fantasy though and nobody is stopping russia from exporting grain. The head of the U.N. is very adamant russian objections aren't based on reality. You are so out to lunch it's hilarious. Without a deal russia is the one who needs to enforce a blockade. They are already loosing ships trying to do so. russias pathetic plan to starve the world into submission is failing. Instead all it has done is turn russian allies like China against russia.

@jmhorange you might have noticed grain is still moving and russian ships sinking. It's up to russia to enforce a blockade and they aren't doing a good job. You're defending russia starving millions of innocent people, and trying to shift blame on the west for some reason. You acknowledge russia broke the deal, if russia didn't want people to starve, all they need to do is honour their deal. Either russia honors their deal, or they kill millions of innocent people around the world. That's plain terrorism.

@Manntashsh-Pyrre-rrr8 because there's no way it makes up for all the grain lost from Ukraine. Ukraine exported in cereal grain and grain legumes 45 million metric tons. russia can't afford to give anywhere near that away. Then there's how global markets work. When millions of tons of food disappears there isn't extra millions of tons of food lying around to replace it.

@Manntashsh-Pyrre-rrr8 57% of Ukranian grain went to developing nations. A lot went to countries like Egypt, Ethiopia, Sudan, Somalia, Sir Lanka, etcetera. Much of their western bound shipments end up in the world food program. There's also the reality of takeimg millions of tons of food off the market. The countries who can afford pay more to secure food from somewhere els. The countries that can't afford the new prices go hungry. Already last year Pakistan and Sir Lanka were left unable to secure grain after multiple bids on shipments failed. The Sir Lankan government promptly collapsed to hungry mobs of civilians who took the capital. We will see this happen to many more countries without a grain deal.

@sergeyb8 beyond all the planes that have fallen out of the sky into apartments? A lot of russian infrastructure has mysteriously blown up or set on fire since February 2022. There's also the mass exodus of people, and businesses from russia. Sanctions have hit employment and quality of life fairly hard as well. Then there's the shattered russian soft power. Even China is upset with them over burning up grain they bought.

@ahmedakhan1 sure, if you ignore most of central / South America, and like 1/3 of Asia 🤷‍♂️ Lol India and China have vlad bent over an oil barrel while they pump cheap oil into their refineries. They are bleeding him dry. US still has a stronger economy then China, who like russia cooks the books, they don't share a real picture of their economy.

@RichardYoachum-xh2fl lol, russia has been steadily loosing ground and face. This war can easily go on for years, and at this rate russia can't win. russia controlled 30% of Ukraine in March 2022. Now they only control 15% of Ukraine. 7% was occupied before February 2022.
