  5. It's not that a massive are damaged. So far the government response has been practically non existent. Where's the army or national guard? When the Canadian highways flooded the military was mobilised within hours. Helicopters rescued stranded drivers caught between washed out sections of the road. Meanwhile 2 days and 0 meaningful deployment ofbthe military or national guard.

Meanwhile 72 hours after this earthquake and the Turkish military has only bombed Syria and flown a few drones to "spot survivors" which has proved to be ineffective. Erdogen needs to send boots on the ground and heavy equipment.

It can be done if you are competently prepared. Just look at the highway 7 rescue response in BC.

  11.  @puraLusa  part of the military role is to assist in a natural disaster. So far all they have done is fly some drones (useless), and begin shelling regions in Syria after the earthquake. Meanwhile hours after the incident the Bulgarian red cross was already on the sceen. As wer a few other aid organisations. With no government assistance to coordinate their efforts. All erdogen has done is call mayor's from his own political party and offer £480 to people who lost their homes. His lack of response should be criminal.

  12.  @ykshorts6649  funny because no photos, or video seem to back that up. There is some of the Indian and russian army providing assistance. Meanwhile road blocks are set up by the Turkish military and social media has been blocked in the region. Part of the problem is the level of secrecy erdogen has.
