Brazil is a lot farther away. Even if they buy regularly the cost of shipping it is much higher then previous markets. As for de-dollarisation, that's an old song sung since the early 1970s. Hasn't happened yet and I don't see it happening any time soon 🤷♂️

@djkinetic2020 Ukraines economy is actually doing surprisingly well. "Regional output is now expected to grow by 1.4% in 2023, substantially better than the previously anticipated 0.1%. The positive, though deeply depressed, economic activity in 2023 reflects a softer contraction of Russia's economy and an improvement in Ukraine's outlook." World Banks analysis of the first quarter 2023 IMF data.

@crude-za Inflation isn't so bad and its way worse in russia. We'd have it anyway thanks to covid and then China messing with Taiwanese trade.

Modi even said publicly he follows the price cap 🤷♂️
5
Pro fascism then? Because that's poutns russia 🤷♂️

Yeah, there are plenty of other sources like here and in Africa too🤷♂️ Russian diamonds, platinum, non-ferrous metals and ferrous metallurgy is already banned I'm the west 🎉

I still prefer Jeffrey Sonnenfeld

@burropoco buying at or near the cap is welcomed. russia even sometimes looses money on a shipment but can't afford to turn the taps off, or let volume slip even further.

@dpelpal the largest providers of LNG to the EU is Qatar and Australia not the US. USA is 3rd. Though USA produces the most they don't have the capacity to export like some other countries.
3
Countries like India are following the price cap. Modi even announced he would, as have other leaders.
3
Keep buying the cheap oil, we appreciate it 🙏

@matthewhuszarik4173 you see, as long as they buy at the price cap or close to it they can buy as much as they want. In fact buy more still. It just bleeds russias potential to make war.

On some shipments, like to Brazil.

@jlpowell51 if they don't then the workers go on hold. Given the current economic crisis poutn needs to keep workers payed and busy. The one bright side is part of the money is spent on russian workers and material, which trickles back to his coffers through taxes. There's also the matter of keeping the pumps flowing as others have mentioned.

She was from a university in the US. I think she was born in Polish though 🤷♂️

UK isn't even part of the EU. They have their own problems with that lady who spent 3 weeks in office to nuke the economy 🎉
1
@AB-fi5jt the IMF literally just publishes what comes out of the kremlin, gives their numbers a rubber stamp. Accountants though and other analysts have found the russian data doesn't check out with data from other companies, or countries. It's all creative accounting 😂
1
If only, it's at 71.65 as of literally right now
1
@kongwee1978 In 2020 years low was oil traded at 11.26. However the average price a barrel was 39.68. That was a rough year for russia. This won't bring russia down and it's not supposed to. It will however reduce their capacity to wage war.

As does his ability to buy more missles

@priapulida AI loves to give false positives and nobody is reading that wall of AI generated blabber.
1
@daniyalbbd5281 you should heed your own advice 🙄

@χσχσ-ν3χ keep coping, modi literally said he was publicly 🤷♂️ I quote: "India will not breach Western sanctions on Russia including the price cap of $60 imposed on purchases of oil from Moscow." At the G7.
1
@AK-tf3fc russia has a fascist regime lead by a gangster. Its not democracy when poutn can win some regions by over 100% of the vote 😅 not unless some people loved him so much they committed voter fraud to vote twice 😂
1
They started that in 2022 when the war started.

It's nothing like what you say, but not everyone can grasp global macronomics 🤷♂️
