  5.  @bubshab  it leaves too much residue. Ammonia cleans it like actually new, and evaporates fast. Turpentine leaves it's own oily residue. It would be more work, and potentially I'd smok it's oily unsafe residue it leaves behind. acetone is a decent safer alternative, or 99% rubbing alcohol. However nothing cuts through the residue and Ash stuck in a Bong like ammonia. It's like a magic eraser to marajuana residue.

  9.  @twestgard2  sure, we all should consume less. We can't consume nothing though. 1/6 people rely on imports for their daily sustenance. Machine parts and electronics that keep infrastructure operating, like hospitals, aren't something we can just stop. Germany for example is the world's second largest exporter of surgical instruments, and hospital equipment.
