  2. They were shot arriving to a domestic dispute. Man was beating his wife when they arrived to the call. The abuser opened fire through his door taking both their lives. First Edmonton officers to be lost on the line of duty in 8 years. The 1 saving grace is the abuser took his own life and though in serious condition the women is likely to survive her injuries.
