You should read (he's too slow to watch) poutns February 21 2022 speech. I'll paraphrase is by quoting his favourite philosopher who he likes to quote often in speeches. "Ukranians don't exist... they are just confused russians". He literally wants to erase everything it means to be Ukranian. The culture, the language, and anyone who resists.

@AndyT-np8mm I do, to be Abkhazian is to be a russian puppet like the DPR or LPR, or South Ossetian, North Alanian, East Prigorodnyian, Transnistrean Excetera. russian trolls sow the seeds of disunity, prop up rebels, then invade to steal land and resources. Putting down the opposition with proxies and mercenaries, so they can deny direct involvement.

@hanksoandso8778 it's absolutely no exaggeration. Read the speach yourself and know some history. The Kyivian rus founded muscovy and were around long before them. In the 18th century muscovy changed their name to russia then invaded the rus. He denied their history and insisted the Creation of ukraine was invented by the west to hurt russia and turn russians against each other. He absolutely denied they even exist as a people. In 1991 over 90% of crimea voted to be part of Ukraine, fact check me. Besides russification was only attempted late empire and late USSR. Both attempts failed and the people have always seen themselves as Ukranian.
