  7. My grandpa and Grandma from my mom's side met in Canada after fleeing the russkiye empire. My grandma as a teen during the holdomor in Ukraine. Then my grandpa from the Minsk Kurapaty massacre in his early 20's. My grandma's crime was being Ukranian and my grandpas being Jewish.
