  3. as a child visitor tourist to singapore around maybe 2 decades ago, i vaguely remember going through some sort of tunnel museum thing and being given bottles of water and as a small child, i didnt know what it was or what was so special about it and didnt understand what the place was about. i guess maybe it was some sort of place trying to convince people the treated wastewater was good

  4. u wanna know why they pronounce Thames like Tems? just go to etymology page of Thames in wiktionary, you will find the answer tldr, it's cuz it's really Temes before but they tried to correct the spelling before cuz they thought it was from Greek, but actually it was from Latin which actually was also from a native Brythonic word Tamesis
