now that i think of it, in my asian country we never do swear in front of people, we just swear in our minds or when we're alone because of american influence getting passed down to us but it'd be really awkward to mention them in front of people unless you were mad or some drunkard. my cousins sometimes have days where they ask around if I swear like gauging if I was a person that swears. seemed weird to me when it became normal for me to be alright with it online or privately without anyone around

you do understand that the japanese are the people who invented the concept of tsundere and trap. japanese and also other neighboring east asian countries have a culture of saving face. they are never direct and very reserved and ceremonial. the point of that is to present a clean innocent face at all times. not that it means everybody's hiding something, it just means that there are some who are and it'll surprise you when you find the fakers
