  1. whatever spanish you heard isnt separate. any word resembling spanish that you heard is officially merged with tagalog creating what is known as filipino. the english words though are separate unless spelled out in the local orthography otherwise

  4. lol this coming from someone named "Basketball For Life" hahaha. the main sport that people do love here is basketball and this is one people have stadiums and tv channels to watch for rather than any other sport but lol only basketball fans stick to their basketball philosophies which there you could see some stereotypic filipino basketball guys who do that but many like me dont care about that hahaha

  5. we didnt take anything from malay. those words you may think that are from malay are just cognates rightly contained in the local filipino language. plus its not hindi, its only sanskrit. plus english words heard in normal conversations aren't officially in the language, only some are. also add nahuatl in that list as some also come from native mexican aztec words. chinese also more specifically hokkien and a little cantonese

  8. Filipino is more specifically basically the creole product of manila based dialect of tagalog and colonial manila vulgar spanish added together as a creole and turned officially into what is named filipino as standard national language

  9. its tagalog and english, creatively named taglish which in itself is only a made up pidgin mix which means taglish isnt a language but people in the big cities here like manila like to frequently mix it.
