  2. @MB HK latin america? hahaha. that is dumbest thing i heard today. the only people who have roots in latin america are filipinos with mexican spanish blood and only 2% of the filipino gene pool has native american blood and only 5% of the blood has actual spanish blood. the philippines or the whole spanish east indies from philippines to micronesian countries were too far from the spanish empire to have a big meaningful part of the population absorb that much spaniards or latin americans. the majority of filipino demographics and genepool is 53% local austronesian southeast asian and 36% east asian blood (mostly assimilated hokkien chinese and cantonese and japanese minority from the past centuries). only 5% has spanish blood and 2% from native american (probably mexican) which mostly is in the elite upper class

SS acting polite to not hurt someone is also done in neighboring countries of japan albeit it gets toned down the farther the country is from japan and east asia in general. in my country in southeast asia, some do this and try to find a sentence phrasing to make it sound better although its not a common thing to do. only sometimes. i suppose in japan, its a common established behavior
