  3.  @Somm_RJ  No, the pangga you're talking about is not tagalog. pangga or palangga is a bisaya term, hindi 'yan tagalog. and he did not misspell it. he is writing in spanish, not tagalog. In spanish, n before g is equivalent to filipino orthography's -ng which is one letter in the filipino alphabet, which is not so in the spanish abecedario. that was the case in the spanish of the philippines centuries ago too which is why Barangay is spelled the way it is in english and spanish, and "baranggay" in tagalog and other ph languages. Also, he is talking about a recently introduced fish in latin america which came from southeast asia in general that latin americans know little about so they generalize it as coming from filipino also known as tagalog. he is mixing up the panga fish with the pangasius fish as well. It is the pangasius fish that's recently entered latin america and is somewhat like tilapia

  5.  @Somm_RJ  yeah pero di palangga ung sinasabi niya. may confusion sila dati with a new fish na parang tilapia na naintroduce sa latin america na galing raw southeast asia tapos sinasabi nila na galing pilipinas raw kasi mukhang tilapia pero tawag nila panga pero ung pinaguusapan nila talaga ung pangasius kasi identifying fish species is confusing
