  9. ​ @chocolatitomaravilla3899  u might not see the context here but the detective isnt simply checking his phone to pass time, not like a few glances could afford him that. there was an instance where the detective was about ready to call it over and arrest the guy but upon checking his phone, he sat down again, perhaps telling that he likely received a message from outside the room that they were not yet able to arrest the guy, of course cuz the detective had not yet elicited from him the reasonable causes to be able to do so.
