  1. the stereotype mindset is present as frequently discussed in the video. the mangas u read relating to churches, nuns, and catholic stuff is not there because the manga artist thinks he wants to make the japanese audience familiar but it is because the manga artist wants to portray something exotic and fancy to the japanese viewer. you even see the common japanese stereotypical view at it in anime and manga. christianity is usually seen like dark scary black and white catholics with fancy looking gothic churches and sound like some sort of scary cult
