  1. sometimes it feels offputing that countries in east asia are so closed off and clueless of what happens in the world. there isolationist bubble feels as if it severely impedes their access to knowledge and developments around the world. this coming from their neighbor in southeast asia. people in latin america, people in southeast asia, people in the middle east, people in south asia, people in oceania and to some extent people in central asia and africa know all whats happening in europe and anglo-america due to wide knowledge of english and western media but its always offputting that when you ask things that seem otherwise simple and obvious to everyone else that people in east asia look at you so cluelessly as if they can't relate at all. that barrier is what makes it so annoying. its as if they cant parley equally with the knowledge and popular trends available. yet sometimes some have some sort of loathing against those outside their little bubble of a sphere
