a little rough history from what i can remember. The Iberian peninsula as a whole before was collectively known as Hispania or in english "spain." the peninsula was composed of portuguese, castillians, catalans, andalucians, galicians, and basque before collectively known as spanish people. when castille took in andalucia and galicia then aragon of the catalans took in the basques of navarra, the two kingdoms of castille and aragon united through marriage of their monarchs. they renamed themselves spain to describe them hoping to eventually unite the peninsula and take in portugal but portugal stayed independent throughout. ethnically the portuguese are people of hispania but brothers of the present day spanish people. but i think i remember before that the romans called the peninsula iberia, the big part of spain as hispania and some part of portugal as lusitania. but anyways in language theyre all related to each other. portuguese only having few differences with spanish but both have more differences to french and italian

@onetwo9978 no, the original brand name is "Ve-Tsin" for vetsin by the Tien Chun Ve-Tsin food company from shanghai (exported and manufactured from hong kong), but yeah the V usually turns into B in ph languages

actually funny thing about the Chinese Exclusion Act is that it did have a loophole and yes, it was in the philippines where the loophole was and no, it wasn't about native filipinos, it was about chinese filipinos in the philippines lol. since the philippines already had chinese filipinos long residing for centuries in the philippines and then the philippines became ruled by the United States that had the chinese exclusion act in effect, chinese migration into the philippines was conditionally allowed for family of chinese filipino merchant families so what many chinese migrants did from fujian province where most chinese filipinos come from was that their relatives in the philippines would legally adopt them lol and use their local chinese filipino family surnames when in fact their real surnames are of a different character lol, so if you go to the manila chinese cemetery for many elderly people born during american colonial era in the philippines, you will see that for many people, their latin letter surname does not match their family name character in their chinese name. also, some families bribed government officials in the philippines to basically buy local hispanic surnames so many ethnic chinese filipino families in the philippines also use common hispanic surnames in the philippines despite technically being pure or majority ethnic chinese lol

they made a funeral building here in my city where the first few floors did funeral services but the rest of the continuing upper floors had rooms of burial shelves filled with cremated ash urns in them. i once explored the place by going up the golden elevator meant for bringing coffins up to the crematorium on the top floor. the thin dark hallways leading to the rooms sometimes have dim flashy ceiling lights so it was creepy on its own lol. maybe i shouldve filmed such explorations while waiting in funeral services

its not just a choice to save someone. humans are comfortable with making the choice even without the urgency to save someone. i mean we do eat livestock just because we like eating livestock and its part of our healthy diet to do so.
