@henvdemon in my country neighboring south of japan, we always had metal or plastic lunch pack cases that seemed to always be made in japan. producing that much varied mix of lunch pack case brands, i'd thought japan had such a booming industry use of factory mass produced school lunch packs that isnt just bento boxes especially that anime always depicted students in japanese schools to eat their lunch on their desks in their own classrooms which they move their desks around to face their friends

in my country, students pack their own lunches to school, supplied by their families. if not, they could buy from local catering businesses hired by the school to sell food on campus. in universities, people could also eat out at off campus food establishments or restaurants within the campus itself

why not make your own local SEA food into its own fast food chain then? that is basically what jollibee in the philippines is and the owner of the chain is one of the top billionaires of southeast asia

@zenn8728 ya jollibee is not too big in neighbors, just in countries and places filipino ofws often go to. i hear in jakarta though that there was a jollibee that sold chicken barbeque
