Let's name it: e.g. Finland. According to the Finnish defense command, the NATO candidate has around 200 Leopard 2 tanks. Finland announced in January that it would donate Leopard tanks from its own stocks to Ukraine, if necessary without an export license. Nothing was delivered, apart from big words. Now this option is being used as leverage to force membership into NATO. One way protection? Nobody needs such allies.

@ericlovelace6502 Good question. There are only conspiracy theories out there. Unfortunately we have to wait for a new Edward Snowden. It would be just as unbelievable as American secret services tapping the phones of German politicians. Nobody here would be really surprised if Seymour Hersh's information was correct.
