  1.  @Vitez-sd2kc  There are VERY few "good" politicians so Im sure we will be just fine. Also, Bernie is not one of the good ones. His change in rhetoric when he made his million and his support for people like Pelosi should show you that. The longer a person is in govt, the more pull and power they gain

  2.  @lornathorpe1632  The bottom 50% of taxpayers pay 3% of taxes. (That is not including Americans who pay 0 in taxes). The bottom half are a net negative as they take more in programs than they pay in. Their average tax rate is 4% while the 1% average tax rate is 27%. The top 1 percent paid a greater share of individual income taxes (37.3 percent) than the bottom 90 percent combined (30.5 percent). The nonworker gets it better than anyone in this country.
