@cjedd2312 The gov isn't there to make sure you're prosperous and healthy. That is your job. The gov is only supposed to protect your rights. It is only supposed to stop injustice, not cause justice.

@MrBrndin Where did I say the gov devaluing the dollar IS defending your rights? I didn't. Respond to my actual comment and its context, not what context you want to make for up.

@MrBrndin Those are 2 different things and you keep creating things from thin air to attribute to my comment that weren't said. If you want to give your feelings on a topic, just say it. Don't try to twist and straw man my comment to do so. Yes, we are supposed to work to make sure we are prosperous. Why would it be any different? Why should your neighbors have to make sure you're prosperous? That is silly. The gov devaluing the dollar is a separate issue. That is the gov going outside of its bounds. They do it because WE (us today, our parents, grandparents, etc) allowed them to get so enormously big and allowed them to I sert themselves so greatly into lives. It is the thought that the gov should take care of is that got us here. We gave them too much power. And they use the thought that it is their job to care for us that allows them to do it and we let em get away with it. Read The Law by Frederic Bastiat. Learn the proper place of gov.
