Ppl who go to the Dr a lot or who are generally unhealthy slobs love the idea of taxpayer funded healthcare because gor them, it will actually be cheaper. Ppl who rarely go to the Dr and are healthy will be paying a bunch more in taxes so that other ppl can go to the Dr. I'll pass. Pay for your own healthcare.

It wasn't just the Church comiitte that outed the CIA and media relations. It was also the lesser known vommittee, The Pike Committee. That one wasn't televised. It is more detailed than the Church Committee.

@chriscarlone527 Dude, it isn't just the surveillance of the post office. I was just telling you what you asked of the other guy. The Post Office has been failing for years. Tons of articles of it online. Governments do not run things well. The DMV, the PO, SS, Healthcare for Vets, schools!!!, etc. Yes, you are right that the gov does not represent the interests of the public...and it never will! Yes, it has been hijacked by corporations. Gov let it happen. Gov is ran by ppl. Ppl are corrupt. Im not saying we should have no Gov, I'm saying we need WAY less. It is always funny to me how people bash the Gov(rightly so), yet argue for more of it. People can't get off that teet.

Mexico and Central America have the highest welfare costs of any sending region at $8,251 each and 86% higher than native households. 71% of Hispanic led households are on one or more welfare program for up to 20 years.Corporations and the immigrants themselves are the only ones benefitting. There are definitely immigrants coming over and doing great things though. Africans, for instance.

@chriscarlone527 Yes, lets cut military. And most of the Gov. If the Gov got out of the way, more ppl would do better. Ppls dependence on social programs is keeping them poor. Once they hit a magical number, they're cut off so they don't take that promotion or look for a better job, etc. I'm not fully against social programs. I am not a believer in them being full time. They should be temporary programs that help ppl actually advance in life, not stay stagnant while other ppl work for them to live. The bottom half of taxpayers are a net negative to the system. They take in more than they pay out. But yeah, lets give em even more 🥴 The government needs to get out of our lives and out of our way. They aren't there to help you. They are there to do the bidding of corporations that pad their pockets. They make ass tons of regulations that those corporations have the money and power to work around, but small businesses do not. They make fees and other such costs and hurdles to keep ppl from even getting started. It has always been this way and will always be this way. Gov is made up of ppl. Ppl will always do what is in their best interest. We need to stop indoctrinating the people into believing we need the Gov and go back to when the Gov needed us.

@chriscarlone527 No, they dont. The 1% pay 39% of all income taxes. The 10% pay 69%. The top 50% pay 96%. The lower half pay 3%. This does not even include the people who pay zero percent. The bottom half are a net negative as they take more in programs than they pay in. Their average tax rate is 4% while the 1% average tax rate is 27%. The top 1 percent paid a greater share of individual income taxes (37.3 percent) than the bottom 90 percent combined (30.5 percent).This is not including the money they take in welfare programs and such. Just deductions, child tax credits, etc.

@chriscarlone527 Also, I'm not "poor shaming" or blaming them for economic distress. I blame the economic distress on the Gov who has incentivized ppl being on welfare for life and indoctrinated them in their shitty school system to wanna suck at the Gov teet instead of make better choices, work hard, and be responsible for themselves.

Also, people refer to this as Operation Mockingbird and Wikipedia and other nonsense lying sites say it is alleged. It is not alleged! One excuse is that they don't specifically say "Operation Mockingbird." Another reason is that many ppl don't know about the Pike Committee which talks more about them collaborating with US media, and not just foreign media.
