Others have clearly pointed this out before. Edit: After seeing other threads with this same comment spammed through, I see that I am correct.

  5.  Persie Clines  While I hate police and believe they're power tripping, corrupt, tyrants, it is silly to say that they're out there just killing people. The numbers just aren't there to prove that asinine claim. Very few unarmed people are killed by police. And even some of them were still a threat, trying to use the cops weapon. The stat will still say unarmed. The cops do need a huge overhaul. Their main infraction is abuse of power and violation of peoples rights. A large problem is the laws that allow them to do this. Millions of laws for frivolous victimless things. Laws provided to them so they can work around our rights and violate them. Such as police dogs. They use them to violate our 4th amendment. They can make that dog signal and they have access to your property. There needs to be reform. There needs to be way less of them, they need demilitarized, they need lots of power removed, lots of laws removed, and they need to sit their happy asses at their stations and wait for us to call them. Firefighters don't go out looking for fires to fight and EMTs don't go out looking for people to save. They wait for a call. The police should too.
