There are HS groups that meet often, there are neighborhood friends, your friends kids, sports and other extracurricular activities, etc, etc. There are so many places and opportunities for social activities. The lack of real socialization is schools. They're shoved into over loaded rooms of kids of all the same age and they're not allowed to talk. There is also bullying and isolation. There is an incredible amount of negative socialization.

They can easily since they have more time. They have a much broader range of socialization. Research facts show that they're doing well, typically above average, on measures of social, emotional, and psychological development. 87% of peer-reviewed studies on social, emotional, and psychological development show HS students perform statistically significantly better than those in conventional schools.

Nothing is banned. They're just removed from the school. They can be bought or gotten drom the public library. Age restricting material is absolutely normal.
