  1. ​ @rogerowens7888 😂 Who is teaching that it wasn't that bad or that it was a choice? Nobody. And for the skills part, they're not saying it like they had it good or that it was a good thing. They're saying that even through everything they had to go through, even through all their hardship, they managed to make good from it for THEMSELVES. It is about showing their strength and perseverance, ya donut. You need to stop listening to the tv and get all the facts.

  2. ​ @dom-hx7ki NCLB made extreme emphasis on standardized testing. Funding was connected to it. It wasn't based on being proficient in all subjects at their level, but proficient on passing that specific test for the year. This made them focus just on what was going to be on the tests. If they didn't, the school would lose funding and eventually close. So, when they're not performing well, they lose funding. That makes them not perform as well because they have less resources...so they lose more funding. And it just keeps going in circles until the school would close. So, they had to put their focus on making sure they could learn what was on those tests, not make sure they were where they should be in every subject, on every topic, and work on holes in their knowledge. Also, because of this, it made them have to focus on those who were right on the line of proficiency and not give enough attention to others. It's a terrible and not helpful process.

  5. Again, I already explained this. I know you seen it because you responded to it. Lol What you believe is info made to mislead you. I explained above. It did not teach it how you're saying. It explained this above. Also, the WH approved curriculum from AP was written by Bs and it says the same thing! Because again, they did learn skills and they used them. It is to show their strength and perseverance.
