@dualjnavanonoobJavehara-le6lhDon't want yours learning good values like not stealing? 😂
4
@Grimjack1000 It is the 10 Commandments. 😂 You don't want them to read that they should not steal? Come on guys. I'm non-religious, myself, but this thing today where everyone pretends they're allergic to religion is ridiculous. You have the right to not be forced to be part of a religion. You do not have the right to be exposed to religion. It isn't going to hurt you or anyone else. Grow up.
4
@BloodSweatandFears Exactly! Well said. The outrage is ridiculous.
3
@sethbowling It is being treated as a historical document. That's what it is. It is really weird that a document that says don't kill is this offensive to you. The PF is ideology. It has no historical significance. It is also a harmful ideology, so you're incorrect saying it isn't.
3
Not even that. It is just 10 values ro live by that are for everyone. Nobody is hurt by it. Their outrage is ridiculous.

@chobiden7770 It isn't as simple as that. The Heritage Foundation has a food article on this.
1
@BabyGirlDontEvenPlayThe 1st amendment says hou have the freedom to practice your religion and the gov can't make you worship one. It does not say you have freedom FROM religion being around you. The 10C is a list of good life values. It hurts 0 ppl. 😂
1
@jonathanscheib6480 The 10Commandments are recognized by all the Abrahamic religions. 😂 It is a list of morals. 0 ppl are harmed. The outrage is nonsensical.
1
@jonathanscheib6480 No, it isn't. Gov can't establish a religion and they can't keep you from having one. It doesn't say you have the right from seeing something that is religious. It is also recognized by Islam.
1
@sethbowling How is T not harmful? That's nonsensical. It is one of the most harmful ideologies happening today. No, I would not. I'm not religious, Jethro. Forcing worship doesn't belong there. Far different from teaching them so people learn about those around them. Far different from having a poster that simply states good lessons that ppl should know (not stealing is essential to society) that is recognized by several religions. It is manufactured outrage.

@Guidedpath226 Put up with? Seeing a paper that says to not kill? 🤣🤣 Yeesh.
1
@Guidedpath226 A student should be able to pray. That is their right. The issue is if they're forced to pray. This is a poster of historical significance that all abrahamic religions recognize that simply says basic values. Most of which are ones that are essential to a good society. I'm not religious.
1
@Guidedpath226 The 10C are recognized by all Abrahamic religions. Islam included. It isn't just a "Christian" document. No, I'd have no problem with those either as long as they're age appropriate (Idk what is in them) I have 0 issue with kids reading a thing on the wall or learning about different religions. Schools teach many different ones, so having props to go along with it is not a problem. You think seeing something hanging on the wall equals forced to follow? Stretching quite a bit there, don't ya think?
1
@sethbowling Coming at you? I'm responding. You're responding. It is called a conversation...👀 Passionately? I think this is all manufactured outrage. I also think it is just more anti-Christian rhetoric that is pushed more and more today. Sep. Of C and S means the gov cannot establish a religion. No state church. It does not mean you have a right FROM religion. A poster on the wall is not forcing you to adhere to anything. Again, schools teach many religions. It is already there. It is manufactured outrage for no reason. More to distract ppl from real problems.

@Guidedpath226 Apparently, you are the one who needs help with the reading comprehension skills. You, 51 minutes ago: "Sounds like kids are being forced to look" This was a direct response to me saying that it is an issue if they're being forced to pray. (To follow..) I asked if you're comparing something hanging on a wall (forced to look-this is the part you said) to "forced to follow."(from me saying forced to pray which is what you were directly responding to)

@Guidedpath226 What does that have to do with what I just said?
