  7.  Jen farmer  It is absolutely essential. A forest doesnt "want" to burn down. That is asinine. Controlled fires get rid of the brush, are great for the soil, stop the massive fires from happening and put out a third of the pollution of wildfires. They are preferable to humans AND nature.

  11. @Jossel Weinstein And then they used those controlled burns to tame the land and survive. It kept fires from being uncontrollable and also pulled nutrients into the soil for new vegetation for them to live. Without those controlled fires, they might not have survived the land so long.
