That is my experience as well. Thankfully nobody in my family is brainwashed, but for others I've encountered...they completely ignore proof. In my opinion, ppl juat don't want to admit they're wrong ao they'll lie to themselves and ignore proof until they finally can't lie to themselves anymore. Many ppl dont want to get their so they'll just bury their head in the sand and plug their ears. I used to one of these ppl (like 5 years ago?). I tried and tried to brush off things as inconsequential and dug and dug for things to prove me right. Eventually, I couldn't lie to myself anymore and admitted to myself that I was wrong. Now I go out of my way to get information from many sides so as not to be like that again.

@agodelianshock9422 Exactly. It took me a better part of a year to recondition myself and to see that I was wrong and indoctrinated by the establishment. It isn't something that one article will pull you out of. Or even 5 or 10. It takes a continuing effort to unravel it and to see the pattern.

We could equally ask, who would murder a child, rape a child, etc. Who would murder anyone? Who would fake having cancer or a sickness for sympathy? Who would intentionally get their child sick for sympathy? The list goes on and on of all the things that people do regularly, but most of us find abhorrent. These people don't think rationally.

@technosaurus3805 My thoughts as well. I dont think it was only Dems though. It stopped the Republicans from saying anything during their speeches to the election. They were able to not say the facts in front of everyone while making it seem like they were gonna fight for truth. The whole situation helped all of government tremendously.
