Agreed. Having to pay for the ppl trying to take your stuff and your kids...yikes. It's wrong. Her lawyer should be her problem.

I agree. It is messed up. I do know one guy where the system worked out in his favor, but she was an alcoholic, had no license (dui), and he made the majority of the money with 4 kids.

@cindystuder9090 Yep. If in doubt, get a better lawyer. Lol My Dad spent about 100k on a badass lawyer to keep my brother out of jail, years ago. He was worth it. Lol

Maybe ppl should take marriage more seriously. Wait longer to get married and work harder to make it work. I was with my husband for over 10 years before I married him. We were engaged for 8 yrs. We take it very seriously. We don't even acknowledge divorce being possible.

@e13kid No, I wouldn't stay with him, but, I know that won't happen...hence spending a very long time with him before we married. You're not going to take my words and twist them into your own nonsense.

@e13kid Some people don't want strangers in their house doing their job. Some ppl don't want to pay for that either. And it is a lot more than a maid's duties.

It was clear what I meant was disingenuous when I pointed it out in my comment and you now pretend I meant something else was. You have yet to appropriately challenge anything I've said. You have only deliberately twisted my words. I never said there was 0 reason I'd ever get a divorce, for instance. What I said was that ppl should take it more seriously and take more time. I did. Then I said my husband and I don't think of it as an option. That doesn't mean that there is no situation that could ever come up where it wouldn't happen. It means that we don't treat it like the escape button that so many do. If you treat it like an option, you'll use for lighter and more silly things. Who knew that something so simple and reasonable as maybe ppl should be more serious about marriage would make someone be so disingenuous. LOL typical 👱🏻‍♀️

@e13kid I do know that wouldn't happen. So, your way of explaining is to come up with a scenario that is extremely unlikely? Lol No, I'm not arguing that they should stay in that exact situation. At no point did I say such a thing. That is an actual legitimate reason. I said maybe ppl should take marriage more seriously. I said they should take longer so they can get to know them better. Try being less disingenuous.
