@grmpEqweer We need less gov in our healthcare. Not more. They're the problem. Also, they aren't stopping the medical monopolies. There are many changes that can be made that would lower costs. Forcing the theft of more of our money is not a good one.

Also, just no. He has to pay an excessive fine (against this 8th amendment right) when there was 0 victim and there was no crime. That woman ran for office saying she was going to "find" something to get him for. She admitted she was going to investigate him while having no crime or cause. Just hate. Is this the country you want? She couldn't "find" anything so she took an old, unused law and completely reinterpreted it. Have you ever bought or sold property or used it as collateral for a loan? The gov doesn't get to say what your property is worth. You try to get everything you can for it. The bank/buyer sends an assessor and gets their OWN valuation. There is a negotiation and an agreement. The banks in this situation said exactly that. But, he wasn't allowed a trial and the judge made him guilty on summary judgement, so you may not be aware of that. Also, the court used tax value instead of market value which is the most asinine thing ever. The claim that his FL property is worth less than 20m is absurd. There are empty lots a fraction of the size right by it selling for more than that. 😂 His is a palace on a 17 acre lot (that's huge there) that goes beach to beach. It has a running, profitable business on it, as well. It is in the most prime real estate in the country. He didn't over value it. The court vastly under valued it by using a tax value. 😂 You actually want a gov like this?

@grmpEqweer It is completely false that he "cheated" his taxes. There is a huge difference between not paying and trying to pay as little as you can, just like every single one of us do. It was actually proven that he overpaid his taxes. The overpayment gets rolled over into future payments.

@SgtJoeSmith Every time I have ever been in a DG, if they aren't ringing up a customer, (this is less and less due to self checkout) they're just sitting there. Lol Huge rolling pallets of stuff to out away, blocking every aisle, and they're sitting. Lol So, you could be right.

@Jerouac Welfare is what makes it impossible. 😅 Follow me.l here. You get food, healthcare, phone or tablet, cheaper electric/gas, water, internet, some get cash, etc. That is a ton. There is a certain dollar amount that you earn and lose all of it, all at once. So, what do you do if you're offered a promotion? You hit that dollar amount and you lose all that help. So, you don't take it. You're not going to get a better job either (unless it is a unicorn job that is way more that would immediately cover all of that...unlikely) because, again, you'll lose all that help. So, you stay stagnant. Never doing better. Never getting off of it. Always a dependent on the gov. On other Americans.

I do mostly agree with you about the dollar. However, certain things do better and have an effect on the economy just by speculation. For instance, JB is very anti-oil. Well, oil has a huge impact on our dollar. It effects the entire supply chain. Well, when they look for places to drill, apply for the things they need, set it all up, etc, they're not going to see a return on that for many years. But, when they see ppl like Joe and other politicians bring SO anti-oil and pushing to move away from it(we currently do not have the replacements available to even do this yet..not anywhere close. Not to mention the many, many things that are made with the byproduct), they have to decide if it is even worth the enormous cost now if there is no future for it. This is why they've changed their refining for other things. So, just the rhetoric of the ppl on the top can have a big effect. If a new person comes in and is pro-oil, pushes for more (that is what we should be doing) the prices can come down in that area, and have a domino effect. The problem will be getting corps to want to lower their prices. If anyone could do it, I think DT could think of ways to incentivize. 😅

@marciamartins1992 What does that have to do with individuals? 🤣 And giving tax breaks for certain actions and further investments and such that they do isn't even close to the same as just giving ppl stuff.

@grmpEqweer Oh geez. He paid his taxes that he owed. How do you still believe that he "cheated" on them? They literally proved in this massive article from the NYT that he OVERPAID. They just buried that in the middle of an enormous article that they knew ppl like you would never read. There's an enormous difference between cheating taxes and avoiding taxes legally. Avoiding taxes legally is what 100% of us do. You try to get every deduction and credit you can. So did he. There was no cheating them.
