@CaraBolsaSTUDIOS Ppl will ne or stop believing these silly stereotypes about homeschooling. Lol This isn't 50 yrs ago. 😄 Millions of kids are homeschooling here. They create communities. They usually have HS groups, they typically play sports, take classes for instruments, outside classes, etc. Research shows that on average, HS students routinely participate in eight social activities outside of the home. They can easily do this since they have more time. (It takes far less time than gov school) They have a much broader range of socialization. Also, gov school is a lot of negative socialization. Research facts on homeschooling show that thry are doing well, typically above average, on measures of social, emotional, and psychological development. Research measures include peer interaction, self-concept, leadership skills, family cohesion, participation in community service, and self-esteem. 87% of peer-reviewed studies on social, emotional, and psychological development show HS students perform statistically significantly better than those in conventional schools.

@solarcry287 Then that was your parents job to put you in sports, groups, classes, etc. To take you to parks, library events, etc. This is what the average homeschool family does. Many HS families live in rural areas and do this easily. Most join groups that regularly meet. HS kids are usually in numerous activities outside the home. My son is homeschooled and he has never had any issue fitting in with gov schooled kids. His best friends all go to gov school.

 @skeetorkiftwon Homeschool curriculum and help is abundant online. The first year we did it, we did it basically free. The whole internet is at everyone's fingers.

@Boodah6811 You don't have to have a parent stay home. You can create your own schedule that goes around your work schedule. You can do it nights, weekends, etc. It takes far less time than gov school.

Just short comments that mean nothing. You could actually research the subject and you'd find that there is an enormous internet full of help and curriculum. There are whole sites that you can use completely free even. Don't be so embarrassing.

@TheManofthecross The private and religious schools are just as bad. They're doing all the same crazy stuff. And the private ones won't let you come out against them if something happens or they threaten to remove your kid without returning the money you spent.

@Dan-x8f3u You're not listening. Lol Because that was not homeschool. That was school done online and the parents had no control of when or how. Homeschool is done around your schedule. It takes way less time than gov school, as well. If their kid was out of control, that's on their parenting.
