@ZzXZ636The 1% pay 39% of all income taxes. The 10% pay 69%. The top 50% pay 96%. The lower half pay 4%. This does not even include the people who pay zero percent. The bottom half are a net negative as they take more in programs than they pay in. Their average tax rate is 4% while the 1% average tax rate is 27%. The top 1 percent paid a greater share of individual income taxes (39 percent) than the bottom 90 percent combined (30.5 percent). Taxpayers with incomes below $30,000 filed nearly 44% of all returns but paid just 1.4% of all federal income tax – in fact, two-thirds of the nearly 66 million returns filed by people in that lowest income tier owed no tax at all. ...so who doesn't pay their "fair" share? (Note-I need to update these numbers, but I can't imagine they're much different)

@ywtcc Not a myth and you can see it in the charts that this man shares in these speeches. The DT tax cuts caused an increase in receipts. Even corporate ones. Also, read Thomas Sowell's book on it

@Mr.Genesis Actually, the credits for kids is an incentive for people to have kids which we need to fund the SS and Medicare into the future.

@Mr.Genesis Most ppl don't care about SS and medicare." We both know that isn't true. Lol Absurd comment, actually. Why would most people who have paid in want their money back, right? Lol It isn't a huge talking point every election because everyone does care, right? Lol I agree that I would like me to be the one that decides how my money is spent. What you and I want doesn't matter, however. A ton of ppl have already paid into it and deserve to get what they paid for. No, that is not how you "perpetuate poverty." The decline in pop. will lead to a decline in the economy. Need for less food, less product, less everything.

@Mr.Genesis Completely nonsensical. Ppl are freaking out, as we speak, because of SS running out in like 10 yrs. They're freaking out, right now, because the Dems keep telling ppl that DT said he is going to get rid of them both. (Not true, but irrelevant here) Your narrative is just not even close to true. Probably because most ppl have already paid into it and they want it back.

@Mr.Genesis That's really silly, sorry.

@trackernivrig Exactly how it sounds. I did the research on this a while ago, so it is possible that the numbers are slightly different. I can't imagine they're much different right now. Nothing has changed. Just putting it out there.
