@Remmy_likescheese It is a good thing Trump didn't listen to "science" (by whivh I mean Fauci and the WHO)about the travel bans hr implemented on China and other countries that all Dems called him xenophobic for and actually tried to pass a bill to stop, or the deaths would be higher. This idea, in general, that he don't listen to science is bunk. It seems that you think "the science is settled". It is, in fact, not settled. No science is settled.

@Remmy_likescheese Oh and it is silly to blame the economy on Trump when he wasn't the one who shut down several states...that is those governors who did that. And if he did the right thing by leaving it up to the states (lockdowns and masks) as that would be an immense abuse of his power and you know everyone and their mother would've freaked. Can't blame him for policies he didn't implement. 😁

@Remmy_likescheese No I am the kind of person who looks at all sides of something, not just the one that agrees with my confirmation bias and then bases my opinion off of all facts, not just the one that is trendy. Again, another topic that the science is not settled on and to say it is is a completely misunderstanding of said science. The entire economy imploded because governors shut down their states and banned people from working. The death rate is under 1% and thr numbers ate oberblown. Many of the deaths are due to several Democratic governors sending corona patients to nursing homes (uou know, where the most vulnerable are...almost like they wanted high deaths...) Despite the fact that the hospitals were not close to full and the federal government set up medical tents for overflow which were not used and even a medical ship to NYC which was not used.

@Remmy_likescheese We put ourselves 6 trillion more in debt just in a few months. That is an extreme reach to say that we aren't caring for our own. Also, the moratoriums on evictions(that Trump just expanded through executive order because the Dems keep fighting the next bill to get in ridiculous things like banning voter ID(nothing to do with covid), stopping signature verification on absentee ballots(nothing to do with covid), and making the election mail in voting only. Not unusual since they are always stuffing bills with nonsense. And there is mail in voter fraud in several places right now and has been talked about for at least a decade by Dems themselves for being unsafe so it is weird that thr Democrats want the election so unsafe, right?), expansion of extra food stamps, expansion of extra unemployment, etc, etc ,etc.

In gemeral, The states that loved down have the most cases. The states that never locked down have the least cases. Funny that...

Also, does this mean that if someone gives me the flu and I find out they knew they had it or that they didn't vaccinate for it, I can sue? @SongsforSpace Freedom in the context of the OP would be being free to have your own thoughts, ideas, etc. We have those freedoms. You can have bad opinions and ideas(like communism) and live here. You typically do not have these in a communist country. Go to China and speak against the government there and see what happens. Or NK. I do agree with you however. We have the illusion of freedom. Yet, we still have more freedom than basically any country.

@Remmy_likescheese Except the Post Office has been shitty for years(I know 4 ppl that work there and laugh at this nonsense and anyone who knows anything knows they have had issue for a very long time) and the changes being done weren't from Trump. They started during Obamas administration. They are trying to help it by streamlining it but there are weird conspiracy theorists saying asinine things.

@DannyD-lr5yg How many times does this need to be explained. Those bankruptcies were not normal individual bankruptcies. They were chapter 13 bankruptcy which is made for businesses and allows them to stay open and the debt is just restructured. He went on to sell those businesses later. Stop the nonsense. Also, the man has had hundreds of businesses and most succeeded. Take into account that most businesses actually do fail and you understand that you have no clue what you are talking about. Stay in your own lane.
