  7.  @overseerthe322  Give a cop more authority over you and they'll use it against you. Have you not heard, watched, or read the thousands upon thousands of cases of cops abusing their power against citizens? Giving them more power to abuse will absolutely affect your security.

It's mind boggling that it is still considered a good thing. Those who give up essential liberties for a little temporary security, deserve neither and will lose both
