@robynwells8249 incorrect. A settlement doesn't stop CRIMINAL charges. It doesn't work like that. They won't stop charging you of that crime just because you and the accuser made a deal. No criminal charges were brought due to lack of evidence of it happening and witness accounts, etc. He paid her to sign an NDA to keep her from bringing a CIVIL suit because he didn't want to be smeared. Especially during that time when lots of guys were.

@peterjermey7235 He isn't a suspect. The case was not brought. And you are innocent until proven guilty. And paying does not equal guilt. Ppl pay because of numerous reasons. It tends to be cheaper, they don't want their name smeared all over during the case, etc.

The video also showed that she was fine and was walking arm in arm with him. Grape kit came back negative for signs. Etc etc To save her marriage. To legitimize her story to her husband.

I did not care about K.Harris' and how she rose up the ladder, and I do not care about this guys. It is not my business. BC having his "wood" softened by someone had nothing to do with his ability to run the country or not and this guy sleeping around has nothing to do with his ability. We need to stop allowing the smear jobs.

I didn't care about BillC and his having his "wood" softened by someone either. It didn't effect his ability to run the country. I didn't care about how KamH climbed the ladder. You can't just pay the other person and the gov not charge you. If they have enough evidence of it, they're charging you, regardless. They don't care what you paid. Charges were not brought because there was no evidence of it happening. The payment was to sign an NDA so she didn't go around smearing him with her story. Completely separate.

@DenaNieves Paying does not and has never equaled guilt. The entire point of shushing her was to not have his name dragged. Especially in 2017 when that was happening and ending careers with just accusations. Easy to say when it isn't you.
