  1. Its only the border regions that have issues. And even then, USUALLY, you wont find that trouble unless you specifically go looking for it. Anywhere in central mexico, most of the yucatan, etc is very safe and the food is AMAZING. Some of the best food in the entire world as far as Im concerned.
