  3. People think they carry disease, which is wrong. Opossums have a very low base body temp that isnt conducive to harboring rabies.

  4. They are awful first pets/pets for kids to be honest. Rabbits are wonderful little friends but they need a lot of care!!

  6.  @ralphemerson497  Opossums cant get rabies afaik. Maybe they can but its very rare. their body temp is too low to harbor rabies.

  10. This is exactly how I felt when I found my orange tabby at the pound. I knew from one minute in that she was my soul cat. She was kind of unhealthy but that all went away with some TLC. Had that cat for 18 years, she was around 20 when she passed away. I feel lucky being able to have such a best friend like that for so long. Its like the cat could read my mind at times.

  12. I had an orange tabby that was SUPER talkative. I really liked it honestly, I could have conversations with the cat lol. I always really wondered what she was saying if it all was translated.

  21. I worked at pizza hut for a few years as a teenager. a co worker would always throw the pizza crusts for the crows. she did this almost every day for quite a while. Anyways after some time the crow started bringing her shiny things like pennies or a bottle cap. the crow literally started bringing her gifts to say thanks. the intelligence was so cool.

  50. Try meeting my cat and then saying cats dont love people. My cat is attached to my side 24/7 and has slept on my head every night for the last 10+ years. Also its not silly to say my dog/cat understands me.... they really do. Animals have a gift at that!
