  1. People think they carry disease, which is wrong. Opossums have a very low base body temp that isnt conducive to harboring rabies.

  2.  @ralphemerson497  Opossums cant get rabies afaik. Maybe they can but its very rare. their body temp is too low to harbor rabies.
