  1. I kind of agree. They still broke the law at the time and should serve a punishment. But where my opinion differs is in the punishments, they are WAY too harsh. Anyone in prison for weed should be released and just have to do parole or supervised released, or a fine, etc. No one should be in jail or prison for weed. I think they should not have their sentences erased, but, strongly reduced in severity. Theres still a punishment, just less of one. I think thats fair to everyone.

  2. Ive been tweeting about how ALL Americans should wnat Griner back. Yes I STRONGLY disagree with her kneeling for the flag, and her politics, but shes still an American. A right to a fair trial is guaranteed to her in the constitution, and she wont receive that in Russia. But a prisoner swap for someone called "The Merchant of Death"? Im not so sure of my opinion any more if that is the only solution.

  3. American constitution guarantees a fair trial for all Americans. If you consider yourself a conservative, a patriot, whatever -- that goes for ALL americans, not just ones who share your opinions. Of course she should face consequences but Russia is using her as a bargaining piece and that is completely immoral and wrong. She SHOULD pay for it. But a fair punishment. Russia will send her to the damn gulag just to stick a finger in the US eye.

  4. She really did make a mistake though. She played basketball for a Russian team, flew there and back many many times. Its very conceivable she literally forgot. Do you think she will get a fair trial in Russia? A fair trial to Americans is guaranteed in the constitution, even for a BLM kneeler like Griner.
