  1.  @Jennyoy  I understand your point but I don't totally agree with you on that one. China's been abused by Japan, Britain, and the West their entire history. I'm not saying that excuses some of their behavior, merely pointing out that it shapes their decision making.

  3.  @Jennyoy  It's a fine line for sure, and Beijing could definitely do better. Just pointing out that HK is legally part of China. Look at it from Chinas point of view, HK was already stolen from thjem once by Britain in the Opium Wars... to them its everyone else meddling in their issues.

  5.  @Jennyoy  I think that would be even more damaging...for China to truly change they need to be involved with the world. But the world also needs to respect that China has been taken advantage of their entire history.
