You know I just realized that Walt never met Eladio let alone even really heard much of him. The two kingpins generally had no idea who the other was.

If buying a game doesnt mean I own it, then piracy isnt stealing.

This is factually incorrect on many levels, you dont know what you're talking about as you have no personal experience with the company.

I remember when your shopping cart was an egg carton, and your items were little eggs that were put in the carton. It was pure. Never had a single issue with them. Their customer service was honestly amazing, one of the best Ive experienced (at that time). As soon as they went public and were beholden to shareholders, it all turned into rotten eggs.

My Dad has been an engineer and now supervisor at Cat for 37 years! They have some really good business practices through Six Sigma. Great company. They sent my Dad to Beijing, China around the time of the Olympics there, so I got to live there for two years. I'll always be thankful to Cat just for that one opportunity, and I dont even work for them! You missed the main reason why Caterpillar is successful in todays world over competitors like Komatsu -- availability of parts. Cat has a massive dealer network and you can find parts through Cat for Cat products WAY WAY faster than with other companies. Thats by far the #1 reason. They also have done a great job with branding, everyone knows the Cat logo and Cat yellow!

I've had nothing but good luck with Asus so I hate to rip on them. But theres too much evidence of fuckery and it will make me reconsider next time I buy a motherboard. But with EVGA out of the motherboard business too, theres only three options left really (asrock, gigabyte, msi) and honestly I might still prefer Asus out of those options.

Too much of a focus on marketing and pricing, little to no focus on innovation. They got complacent, and its almost impossible to catch back up in this industry. The entire 14th gen line is trash. I hope they figure it out because the more successful american chip companies there are, the better it is overall, to me at least.

If I was forced to invest in something it wouldn't be the actual AI/Tech companies. It'd be energy providers. These AI farms take an enormous amount of electricity and we're already running out of it.

Listen to your engineers. Promote your engineers. When your entire board are financial experts and know nothing of engineering, this is what happens.

I bet like 50% of their profits just come from consulting with other businesses on how to effectively do things. The other 50% is probably server-grade stuff.

Probably some overweight DEI hire. In all seriousness.. idk if he's still with Apple or not, but my next CEO would be Jonathan Ive.

Didn't they invent the mouse too?

I have a pretty good opinion of Corsair, have one of their PSUs. Im kind of surprised to see this. Maybe their initial price was too high.
