  2. They cant really because of its position. Its on the far WESTERN side of Ukraine, theyd have to fight all the way through the country to make a link to that area. I dont think its possible. NATO would definitely get involved I think too if Russia invaded a second country. Also Moldova doesnt really pose the threat that Ukraine does to Russia, according to them at least....
