This is why combat experience is more valuable than any hardware advantages. Logistics rule all aspects of warfare.

Another thing Russia has is combat experience. For all the advances in China for example, they have almost zero modern combat experience. Russia knows how to do the logistics of a war, and this is a critical skill of a nation.

Thinking of the level of engineering it takes to fit a nuclear reactor onto a submarine hurts my brain

And we've hacked Russia, China, and Iran too. Everyone hacks each other. There is no such thing as a secure network.

Even for an autocratic country with bad leadership, the failure of Russia is astounding. You'd think the superiority and number of their soldiers and citizens would cover any leadership weaknesses but apparently not. The warfield has changed. Drones, anti tank weapons... its changed everything. You need the will to fight, logistics, and intel now - they are the the most important thing on the battlefield now, not pure numbers, or even technology. I really feel like in the near future tanks will become almost a liability. And at sea, aircraft carriers might soon follow that path. Not to say they can't still be effective, but the cost difference of building one compared to the cheap weapons that can destroy it will make them unfeasible.

Without foreign intervention, yes. But it would be very, very costly still. Neither side wants it.
32
I mean the simple answer to me is they're trying to hide their himars as well as their usage, simply to try and preserve them
24
Why didn't I get a YT alert for this?
14
I can summarize for you guys. Yes. Doubting Israel's military expertise is a fools errand, history tells us this.
12
no one denies that
10
probably chemtrails lol in all seriousness, I think it's just a re entry vehicle for the space program that can stay in orbit until needed... nothing too wild

This is one of the big problems with communist countries historically. They're always so fearful of the military overthrowing them, that they neuter the military and especially the higher ups. Which is fine and all....until you actually need to use that military. In Russian culture its not like America...being in the army is looked down on as a poor mans job, and people make fun of people in the army. Even the famed VDV isn't really totally appreciated or accepted. In the US the service is a respected thing and earns you pride. It is just not like that in Russia and they're paying for it now. Im curious if China would have the same issues if they ever are in a major conflict again. Corruption might be more of their downfall though.

@iamnegan1515 You underestimate how much bureaucracy and miscommunication there is in socialist/communist countries. Everything is compartmentalized. The right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. So yea, I do really think they'd forget to fuel up.
5
Down with the Bourgeoisie!
5
If I was Taiwan I'd REALLY be starting to freak out right about now.
4
They just need to be supported by infantry and other units
3
As long as America maintains air superiority, no one can touch them.
3
@Will-xc8hg That's crazy!! I feel stupid for writing the original comment but I'm kind of glad I did. I researched a lot about this and learned a lot.
3
@xblackaquamanx8070 Hypersonic chemical/tactical nuke is pretty much the absolute worst case scenario here. Even as a false flag operation I don't see that happening though.
3
It'd take over a million troops. And that's just if no one steps in to help Taiwan. Seems an impossible task.
2
I fucking love maps dude. I think its awesome you spent 100 hours on that project.
2
when the music first hits at the beginning I GET HYPE
2
when that intro music hits you know you're in for a quality knowledge bomb
2
lol people think stealth makes the craft invisible?
2
I want a video on if aircraft carriers are viable in any conflict now. they havent been tested in battle in what, 80 years? china says one hypersonic missile can take out a carrier, and a nuclear tipped one could theoretically take out an entire battle group. all of americas projected power is done through its navy, specifically its aircraft carriers. It seems possible to me that a single missile could take out ten BILLION dollars of machinery.
2
Ive been asking myself this question since almost day one of the war, so I clicked this video super fast
2
@moochoman9948 This!
2
@yogakurniawan9712 Conventional non nuclear warfare is really all that matters still.
2
I still find it almost completely impossible to believe the DPRK has, and can maintain submarines.
2
It doesn't make any sense though, Iran knows it would lose any conventional war with America -- and attacking them just gives the Americans reasons to go to that war. Iran would only use proxy wars to antagonize the US.

short answer - no
1
tldr; no

Missed an easy opportunity for nordvpn ad

read my mind

This channel is fucking dope
1
The intro music gets you hype as fuck right? Even if its about the end of the world.
1
Only if you somehow take out their way to respond, which is near impossible.
1
@HailAzathoth I would think the Aegis system could at least hit some percentage of hypersonic missiles. If not, I'm sure they're working on that right now.
1
@jamesbreitbart7246 Admittedly I haven't read much about hypersonic weaponry.
1
I think in 20 years pilots will be a thing of the past. Any craft that has a chance of being shot down will be unmanned/a drone.
1
Great content as always
1
and just think how advanced the aircrafts we don't know about are. typically the military is 40-50 years ahead of civilian tech.
1
problem is with both governments. american and iranian citizens have no problems with each other!
1
any change they 'let' the attack happen to justify further aggression with yemen and iran?
1
@stevenneill6605 I mean, they could have. Obviously. Their mistake was vastly underestimating the cost. Same thing with Afghanistan.
1
@tritium1998 Whos talking about economies
1
JFK is the one major event that I actually dont think was a conspiracy. 9/11... the moon landings... those are a different story
1
Not yet, but, the time for every technology is finite.
1
I still can't figure out how this ends, and that's scary
1
This is kind of shocking. They're going to literally run out of war machinery if they dont announce a war economy.
1
The intro music gets me hype for some geo politics.
1
If we can get pictures and sat info like this, imagine what the government has access to.
1
This is how we "think" nukes would be used. No one really has any idea. And maybe that is actually the reason why they wont ever be used... no one has any idea what will happen.
1
schlaberdasken And?
1
HMS Blackprice Thats true to an extent, yea.
1
they say military tech is usually 25years ahead of civilian
1
@cdgncgn no... no we dont. any victory would be pyrrhic.
1
@captainkrajick Yea but if you read Chinese history Taiwan has always been a part of China. When the KMT lost the war they retreated there and took over the island. I can definitely see how the CCP thinks Taiwan is theirs.
1
If Russia was a sports team they'd be the most over rated team in the league. Their economy is smaller than California.
1
@Okbirfday What in the world are you talking about? No nation has more combat xp than America, and that started from day one in 1776.
1
@get_it8473 Yes Im sure!
1
@JemRau You mean drone surveillance? Thats logistics.
1
MANPADS lol
1
My allergies are so damn bad from pollen right now, they should make gas bombs out of that shit
