I don't think US govt is as competent and capable as the Chinese govt. We Chinese average folks support the govt firmly as it makes our lives better in such a fast speed and it also makes the country strong. In fact, I have failed twice in sitting the Civil Service Exam, which is hyper-competitive and only the brightest minds in China can become govt workers.

@NeverEverMettle On one hand, you guys always say Chinese people are rude in public places as they are too free-willed, behaving in the public too freely as if they were at home, disregarding those around them, on the other hand, you guys also say Chinese people are not free and are living in oppressioon and fear. lol. Do you know what Chinese people think? We are too free. You must have watched a lot of news about Chinese Karens disobeying rules in public places and have to be confronted by other passengers or the officers, haven't you? South China Morning Post has many such news reports. How can they dare to behave this way if they are oppressed and living in fear? lol.

if you had sat the Civil Service Exam in China and got a taste of how difficult it was in terms of brain-power requirement against mind-blowing numbers of competitors in highly limited time of duration, then you would have realized the CCP were actually a mega elite network made up of the brighest brains in China. As a master's degree holder educated in England, I still failed twice in the the Civil Service Exam in China which were very demanding in the comprehensive capabilities of candidates across mathmatics, logic reasoning, data analysis, literature, history, politics.... I don't think govt workers of other countries can match their Chinese counterparts in brains.

Before the CCP came into power, China under th ROC was a weak meat preyed by the predatory powers. After the PRC was established, the first thing it did was to nullify all the unequal treaties forced upon China by the industrial powers as signed by the preceding Chinese regimes who were powerless and hopeless in front of the industrialized powers. All the extraterritorial concessions held by Western powers inside China were taken back to Chinese control and all the Westerners left China. China then fought a war with the United States and the so-called UN armies in 1950-1952 and won, then China fought a war with the Soviet Union in 1969 over a border island and won, it also fought a war with India in 1962 over the borders and won. PRC is making China great again, like the superpower it used to be in the pre-industrialization ages. China is now the most industrialized country in the world, it finds back its glory in the industrialized age too, thanks to the CCP's unrivaled competent and capable policy making in education, industry, economic, financial and military sectors, etc. The China Miracle is worthy of being studied by all countries in how to govern a country efficiently and effectively.
