I think the "China is doing bad and China is gonna collapse" theory in the West bought China a lot of precious time to rise quietly, otherwise the West would have probably started to strangle China's neck much earlier than it did since 2018, The "China Is Collapsing" Theorists like Gordon Chang and the US thinktanks had helped China to stay out of the US worry-list for sufficient time and China must thank them. Say if you guys started to surpress China's development 10 years earlier since 2008, then China would have been in a much worse shape for smooth development's sake, now China is no longer stoppable. You may not know this but China files nearly half (46.8% in 2023 and 47.2% in 2024, welcome to verify) of the world's tech patents each year when you guys are still occupied with the prejudices of "China, the dumb copycat". This detachment of your perception of China and China's real-life capability is worth your thinking for a while. Don't you feel something isn't logical that your media are spreading "China is doing horrible" all the time but your govt is so anxious, panic and desperate towards China? I thought western education encouraged critical thinking?

the CPC is the reason why China rises. Your govt is much more incapable and incompetent than the Chinese govt. China filed 47% (nearly half) of the world's tech patents in 2024 (Welcome to verify!)

That's why China is now leading industrial automation and robotics suddenly or maybe not suddenly as the western media just might not have informed you earlier.

China's GDP per capita will reach the 20,000 USD milestone within 5 years and officially become a developed country. In fact, the US Houses passed an unanimous bill to label China as a developed country in March 2023. lol.

@bois6969 I certainly knew the US's political and economic calculations by labelling China a developed country for surpression's sake. I'm from China, I think China is still a developing country. To be a developed country, the GDP per capita must be 20,000 USD or above. China's GDP per capita is around 14,000 USD now. Since China has made massive breakthroughs in more and more conventional and disruptive tech fileds thanks to the success of the "Made in China 2025" Industrial Plan devised 10 years ago in 2015 (and this is only phase one, there will be phase two and more of such 10-year industrial plans), China's growth won't be too slow in the next 10 years. Tech is the best propulsion of the economy by pushing up the productivity despite the US and its lackeys' containment and surpression. I believe China should be able to cross the 20,000 USD mark in 5 years and officially become a developed country before 2030.

Well, the average ai-kiu is what determines. British researcher Richard Lynn observed 20 years ago that the average I-kiu values and GDP per capita of nations across the world were in strong correlation. He wrote a book on that, called ai-Q and Wealth of Nations. He predicted in the early 2000s that China would inevitably rise to the top when given the same environment as other countries and oh boy, how correct he is when you see it 20 years later.
