  1. It's not. "Vampire country" is on the other side of the state in New Orleans. It's the north place of the modern-day vampire in fiction. In the state of Louisiana, you could not get farther away from "vampire country" than Oil City.

  2. @Stabbs1313  "Shreveport" is just a few towns away from Monroe, and it's on the other side. Bossier, Haughton, and Ruston are all a short drive away. I can get to Monroe in an hour, and it's only an hour and 15 min from Shreveport.
